Efficacy/Effect 1) Prevention and treatment of pantothenic acid deficiency
2) Administer when the demand for pantothenic acid increases and intake from diet is insufficient (wasting disease, hyperthyroidism, pregnancy, lactation, etc.)
3) Administer when any of the following diseases/conditions? are presumed to be involved in pantothenic acid deficiency or metabolic disorder: For prevention and treatment of side effects caused by streptomycin and kanamycin, contact dermatitis, acute chronic eczema, postoperative intestinal paralysis.
Usage/Dosage Adults: Intramuscular or intravenous injection of 20-100mg D-panthenol once or twice a day
For intestinal paralysis after surgery, administer 50 to 500mg 1 to 3 times a day, which can be increased up to 6 times a day if necessary.
Increase or decrease according to age and symptoms.
Preparation of injection solution: For intravenous injection, mix 500mg of this drug with glucose injection or Ringer's lactate solution or other intravenous solution and inject slowly
Storage Store in an opaque sealed container at room temperature (1~30ºC)
