Application
Cetrorelix acetate is the acetic acid salt of cetrorelix. A gona dotrophin-releasing hor mone (Gn RH) antagonist, it is used for treatment of infertility and of hormone-sensitive cancers of the prostate and breast. It has a role as a Gn RH antagonist and an antineoplastic agent. It is an oligopeptide and an acetate salt. It contains a cetrorelix.
Cetrorelix acetate is a synthetic decapeptide, which is mainly used in assisted reproductive technology to prevent premature ovulation in patients with controlled ovarian stimulation. It is a gona dotropin-releasing hor mone (Gn RH) antagonist that can compete with endogenous   RH to bind to receptors on the pituitary cell membrane, thereby inhibiting the secretion of luteini 'zing hor mone  and follicle stimulating hor mone (F S H) by the pituitary in a dose-dependent manner .
Function
Cetrorelix acetate is a kind of gona dotropin releasing horvmone (Gn RH) antagonist. This product competes with endogenous Gn RH for receptors on pituitary cells, thus inhibiting the release of endogenous  fschemicalbook, delaying the appearance of L H peak, and thus controlling ovulation. The effect of this product is dose-dependent, and the inhibition is direct, and maintained by continuous treatment, without causing the activity of luteinin receptor to rise at the initial stage and then down regulate.
