LHA Peel or often referred to as the LALA Peel is a no-clinical-downtime peel even for sensitive skins that improve pigmentation, acne, texture , dull and uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores.
Hailing from Korea, this breakthrough peel is known as "the Glass Skin treatment". It's proprietary LHA (Lipo-Hydroxy Acid) & HP-Sol ingredients deeply penetrate and exfoliate the skin whilst reducing redness and irritation, stimulating collagen synthesis, and protecting the skin's barrier function.
LHA is a derivative of Salicylic Acid, though in comparison is a much gentler, non-irritating form of exfoliation - you can still expect LHA to be tough on acne and blemishes but still gentle on sensitive and inflamed skin. The keratolytic action of this peel lifts dead skin cells from the surface of the skin for a smoother, more even complexion.
This treatment is perfect on its own, as an event prep treatment, or combined with our other modalities such as Microneedling or Laser Genesis
LHALALA Peel & Fill Ingredients:
Basic & Ultra "Medical Grade SPA"
The latest generation of peeling complexes Lipo Hydroxy Acid (LHA) LHA (Lipo hydroxy acid) is a new compound developed by the global company L'OREAL CORP., which is a derivative of Salicyclic Acid. In contrast to traditional acids that strongly disrupt keratinocyte binding, LHA is lipophilic and controls transmembrane glycoproteins with slow osmosis. Does not affect the keratinocyte membrane, ensuring uniform, non-irritating exfoliation of dead skin cells stimulates epidermal renewal and regeneration of the extracellular matrix. Biopsy showed that LHA reduced the thickness of the stratum corneum of the epidermis. Compared with the control group and 5% SA, 15% LHA significantly increased cell turnover, decreased melanomass and significantly increased basal epidermal thickness. It has an antibacterial effect and can improve the condition of acne-prone skin. LHA has been shown to reduce the number of follicular ducts by 47% (P<0.01) and the cumulative follicle size by 549% (P<0.01) compared to the control group, reducing the size and number of acne hair follicles by treating 14 women with acne.
