Etibant is a selective competitive antagonist of bradykinin type 2 (B2) receptor. It is a decapeptide with a structure similar to bradykinin, in which there are five non protein amino acids. As early as November 1, 2010, the EU approved the marketing of etibant for the treatment of acute attack of hereditary angioedema (HAE).
